This rare and unusual book is a translation of the Gospel of Mark into the language of the Vanuatu archipelago in the South Pacific. The New Hebrides, now known as Vanuatu, were a colony of France and Britain in the 19th century, and this book reflects the efforts of Christian missionaries to bring the gospel to the indigenous peoples of the region.
