About the Author
Amanda Lucia Anseeuw Sadden writes gentle, imaginative stories for children and the grown-ups who read beside them.
She holds a BA in English and has taught English to children around age ten, an age full of questions, humor, wonder, and big feelings. She also pursued graduate study in family therapy, which deepened her interest in the ways children feel safe, loved, understood, and connected to the people around them.
Amanda has been a story writer all her life. Her books are inspired by family moments, beloved places, bedtime conversations, and the everyday magic children often notice first. As a mother to a beautiful son and wife to a loving husband, she writes stories that invite families to slow down, imagine together, and end the day feeling close.
