God Is Love: A Message for Mormons is a bold, thought-provoking work that sits at the intersection of faith, philosophy, and spiritual awakening. Framed through an imaginative dialogue between Joseph Smith and his Higher Self, the book reexamines doctrines of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) while offering a sweeping alternative vision. Rather than positioning itself as a critique, the book functions as an invitation-one that encourages readers to move beyond fear-based frameworks and reconsider the nature of God as Love itself: an intelligent, creative, and expansive energy.
Drawing on themes such as near-death experiences, consciousness, and the evolution of spiritual awareness, the work challenges traditional assumptions about judgment, salvation, and divine authority.
What makes this book particularly compelling is its tone. It is neither antagonistic nor dismissive of the LDS faith. Instead, it is written with clear respect for the community it addresses, while still asking difficult and, at times, uncomfortable questions.
Ambitious in scope, the book extends beyond theology into social vision, proposing an enlightened global society-a modern Zion.
For readers navigating faith transitions, questioning inherited beliefs, or seeking a broader spiritual framework without abandoning meaning and purpose, God Is Love offers a unique and deeply reflective path forward.
