A happier time couldn't be remembered than the recent Homecoming at Gnome Mountain and the following harvest. Everyone was humming tunes, and laughing in remembrance of Elsbeth's face when she was presented a new house all her own. Families were reunited, some after many years separated. Madame Draco's dramatic entry-who could ever forget Dragon's Blue Flame-and the end of Lord Orr; his invading army disbanded and sent back to the ocean and his sons now were prisoners in a village of hot sun and sand. The Coastals of Inland Bay celebrate their new settlement with a gala event. Good news all around with one exception. These events did not go unheeded. Deep within the forests of the Scottish Highlands the leader of the Old Order of Wizards has just learned of the victory at the hands of the villagers of Gnome Mountain. Memories of yore well up in his mind. Events such as these are what nightmares are made of and they become just that for Lady Myr. Know this, the nightmares will get worse, especially, if they get something attached to you. Some invisible spot, a gift someone gives you that you wear all the time, something. Just remember, this is all in your mind and your best defense right now is logic...of course, they would not approach you directly. It would be subtle, use of a commoner in a low key situation.Life at Gnome Mountain becomes a test of wills, intuitive perception, and strength for The Lady, as Elsbeth and her family look helplessly on.
