Before we jump into the second GHOATS issue, I would like to thank GOD for bringing you to this book! This idea literally started to take legs 7 months after the first issue published during election week 2024.
At Taureanverse Comics, we believe in Comics for the Culture. Although I am not versed or in the non-black ethnic groups of Asian, Latino, etc., from my upbringing as an army kid, I was exposed to so much culture. Currently, I do not have writers at this phase so please excuse the lack of depth to these characters. My goal is for you to see the intention and being genuine as I believe in racial equity for all people. As I continue to evolve, I want to give these characters life and stronger cultural authenticity.
GHOATS #2 was not supposed to come out next. I had Heroes of Ministry coming but decided to pull that until November 2025. What is currently happening in our country is overwhelming. This medium of comic books, and the concept of GHOATS is the perfect vehicle to execute my response.
More amazingness Is to come. I'm blessed to be in this position, and I would like to also thank Curious Iguana in Frederick, Maryland for being the first bookstore to stock and sell my books!
These first steps are exciting. Soon we will be in stores nationwide! This is just the beginning...
