Vita Beati Petri Acotanti is a meticulously edited and annotated edition of the life of Blessed Peter Acotantus, based on a 15th-century manuscript. Edited and introduced by Georg Zapper, this volume presents the original text alongside detailed commentary, offering valuable insights into the historical and religious context of the period. This edition marks the first publication of the text, making it an essential resource for scholars interested in medieval hagiography, religious history, and the lives of saints. The work provides a window into the spiritual and cultural values of the late Middle Ages, shedding light on the veneration of saints and the historical narratives that shaped religious identity.
