Die Seherin von Prevor (The Seeress of Prevorst) is a captivating account by Justinus Kerner of Frederica Hauffe, a woman from the early 19th century believed to possess extraordinary clairvoyant abilities. Living in the village of Prevorst, Germany, Frederica became renowned for her visions, trances, and supposed ability to communicate with spirits.
Kerner, a physician and poet, meticulously documents Frederica's experiences, offering a fascinating glimpse into the world of spiritualism and the supernatural during this era. The book explores themes of faith, science, and the unexplained, inviting readers to ponder the boundaries of human perception and the mysteries of the afterlife. This historical account remains a significant work in the study of parapsychology and a compelling narrative of a woman who challenged the conventional understanding of reality.
