Er nimmt das Vogelbaby bei sich auf, versorgt es mit Futter und Wasser und schenkt ihm jeden Tag seine Zuneigung. Das kleine Wesen wächst und wächst - bis es schlie lich grö er ist als alle anderen.
Dann kommt eine Gefahr auf den Bauernhof.
Und plötzlich entdecken die Tiere etwas, womit niemand gerechnet hat: Aus dem Vogel, vor dem sie sich einst fürchteten, wird ihr Retter.
