Eine kurze Geschichte von Liebe und Mut, von einer kleinen chilenisch-argentinischen Familie, die es wagte, ihre Träume zu verwirklichen. Jenseits ihrer Grenzen und ihrer Ängste wollten sie mit ihrem kleinen Sohn den spannenden Jakobsweg gehen.
Sie begannen diese Reise am 19. April 2018 in Saint Jean Pied de Port im Süden Frankreichs. Sie überquerten die Pyrenäen und liefen 45 Tage lang über 825 Kilometer, um am 3. Juni ihr Ziel, Santiago de Compostela, zu erreichen.

Sole Simon
Psychologe, Schriftsteller, Abenteurer und Theos Mutter. Geboren in Viña del Mar, damals in den 80er Jahren. Mit chilenisch-deutscher Staatsbürgerschaft, spezialisiert auf positive Psychologie und mit Studien in ayurvedischer Medizin, Chiromassage, Aromatherapie, unter anderem. Dies ist das erste Mal, dass sie den kompletten Camino de Santiago geht und es wird wahrscheinlich nicht das letzte Mal sein. Ihre Leidenschaft gilt der Fotografie, der Erforschung von Bildungspraktiken und der Förderung des Wohlbefindens von Menschen.
Alex Patzold
Schriftsteller, bildender Künstler und Abenteurer, geboren in Buenos Aires, Argentinien.Er hat auch in Chile, Brasilien und Gro britannien gelebt und wohnt derzeit in Österreich.
Vater von vier Kindern, argentinisch-österreichische Staatsbürgerschaft, mit einem Postgraduierten-Diplom in Zivilschutz, Militär- und Rechtsstudien.
Er hat mehrere Bücher mit Gedichten, Essays über Motivationscoaching und Führung veröffentlicht. Derzeit teilt sie ihre Arbeitszeit zwischen Wandern, abstrakter Kunst und Motivationsschreiben auf.
Im Jahr 2018 wanderte er mit seiner Frau Sole Simon und ihrem Baby Theo den Camino de Santiago von Frankreich aus, in dem kleinen Dorf Saint Jean Pied de Port, über die Pyrenäen nach Santiago de Compostela in Spanien.
Sie haben sich einen Traum erfüllt und sind 45 Tage lang täglich 20 bis 30 Kilometer gelaufen. Sie erreichten 825 Kilometer, eine Erfahrung, die sie für ihr Leben geprägt hat.
Derzeit wandern sie von Wien aus in Etappen auf dem Österreichischen Jakobsweg von Bratislava, der Hauptstadt der Slowakei, bis nach Feldkirch an der Grenze zur Schweiz, wobei sie auf einer Strecke von mehr als 1000 Kilometern zu einem gro en Teil die Gebirgszüge der Alpen überqueren werden.
