Am selben Tag findet Mila Radtke in einer Ritze im Parkett einen kleinen Messinghaken. Am Nikolaustag liegt ein Zettel in einem Turnschuh vor der Werkstatt des alten Hausmeisters: 24 Haken, zwölf für jeden Korb. Wenn an Heiligabend alle vierundzwanzig da sind, hängen die Netze wieder.

Und ganz nebenbei wei t du hinterher, warum die Wurfuhr genau 24 Sekundenzählt, wieso ein Netz zwölf Schlaufen hat, wie hoch der Korb hängt und was 1936 im Regen von Berlin passiert ist. Alles nach den FIBA-Regeln, nach denen in Deutschland gespielt wird - recherchiert und nachgeprüft.
