Auf dem Hintergrund phanomenologisch inspirierter Feldstudien zum Gottesdienst entfaltet Achim Knecht wesentliche kultursoziologische, rezeptionsasthetische und kulturanthropologische Theoriehorizonte zur Klarung des Erlebnisbegriffs. Damit werden zugleich auch Perspektiven fur die praktische Gestaltung des Gottesdienstes deutlich.
