Beobachtungen über die Sonnenfackeln und Sonnenflecken by Johann Hieronymus Schröter presents detailed observations of solar flares and sunspots, accompanied by incidental remarks on the apparent surface, rotation, and light of the sun. This historical work offers valuable insights into the astronomical knowledge and observational techniques of the 18th century.
Schröter's meticulous documentation provides a significant contribution to the early study of solar phenomena, capturing the state of astronomical understanding during his time. This edition preserves the original German text, making it an essential resource for historians of science and those interested in the evolution of solar astronomy.
