About the author: The son of a career Justice Department employee, Stephan's family went where the government ordered, initially from Washington, DC to New York City (where he was born), to Atlanta, Ga. where he was raised and eventually settled down permanently.

Always interested in our country's history, his favorite reading genre gravitates towards historical adventure novels, probably because of his own family's history over the generations.

Generations is his first published novel loosely based on his family's history from the end of the Civil War to 1940 when his parents first met and his father began his career with the Justice Department as a member of the uniformed Secret Service.
