Lack of courage, irresponsible behavior
Unwilling to challenge, dishonest actions
Dereliction of duties, penance later
Arrogance, obnoxiousness, excessive self-righteousness
A recipe it is, for future disasters
Suffer will nation, suffer will society
Suffer will humanity, but worst will be your fate A storm is gathering, by the horizon
Unwilling to challenge, dishonest actions
Dereliction of duties, penance later
Arrogance, obnoxiousness, excessive self-righteousness
A recipe it is, for future disasters
Suffer will nation, suffer will society
Suffer will humanity, but worst will be your fate A storm is gathering, by the horizon
catch it will you by the throat, if ignored
Repentance and penance thereafter are worthless
mend your ways, while there still is time
Among all the crises and threats that humanity is facing today, the most serious threat comes from none other than humans themselves. A meteorite strike or an alien invasion may or may not occur but it appears human arrogance, dishonesty, deceit, greed and selfishness are determined to push humanity toward a catastrophic end. While humans have always possessed these traits, they did not possess the necessary tools to cause large-scale planet-wide disasters. Rapid changes in technology over the last few decades have on one hand made life much easier but at the same time provided us with tools to cause massive destruction. Whether it is climate change, rapid spread of diseases, instant spread of falsehood and lies, or ongoing wars in various parts of the world, our leaders have repeatedly failed to restrain their own ego and selfishness and have shamelessly pushed forward to plunge humanity into an abyss. It seems we have boxed ourselves into a perpetual cycle of destruction. In the process basic honesty, fairness, and integrity are being pushed aside and crushed. Does humanity have the strength to reverse this trend, or will it be forced to endure a catastrophic fall?
