Gathering Sounds Thrice is the third installment in the Gathering Sounds series, following Gathering Sounds and Gathering Sounds Too. Once again, readers are welcomed into the world of the Rainbow Gathering community through Sounds from the Rainbow, a long-running audio archive spanning more than 25 years of field recordings.
This ethnographic volume features dozens of original color illustrations and invites readers to engage with a unique collection of listener-guided audio experiences known as Sound-Trails: curated pathways through music, spoken word, ambient soundscapes, and fleeting moments.
