Galahad Cried is based on the true story of the life and loves of Bert Harper, a country boy who became a close friend of future Prime Minister of Canada, William Lyon Mackenzie King. Follow the pitfalls and fortunes of Bert's extensive career situations with aspects of political intrigue through heart-rending experiences as a newspaper reporter and bon vivant as he strives to be an honourable person. In an ironic twist of fate, his own honour is his undoing in the ultimate test of his life. The Galahad Statue in Ottawa, the National Capital of Canada, was erected by the city's residents in 1905 to commemorate Bert Harper's bravery.
