In 1824, in the historic city of Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, the life of young friar Aurélio took an unexpected turn. Adopted as a baby by the city's monastery, he grew up under strict Catholic discipline, never knowing his origins. However, while he learned the doctrines of the Church, he secretly developed an unusual gift: mediumship. His powers, initially hidden, led him to perform miraculous cures, attracting the attention of the faithful seeking spiritual and physical relief.

As his abilities became known, the crowds that gathered around the monastery began to bother the members of the order, who saw in Aurélio a threat to religious control. Unable to understand or accept his gifts, his superiors confronted him, resulting in his expulsion from the refuge that had been his home since childhood.

Outside the sacred walls, Aurélio did not hesitate to continue his work. Now free from the restrictions imposed by the Church, he expanded his work, healing more people and earning the respect and affection of the population. In the middle of his journey, life had an extraordinary surprise in store for him: the reunion with his biological father, a discovery that brought immense happiness and an even deeper meaning to his healing mission.

Aurélio, the expelled friar, became a legendary figure in Ouro Preto, not only for his miracles, but for his courage to follow his path, even in the face of adversity.
