Forgive Us Our Trespasses explores the lives of two young people who dared to live by the boundaries that society had forced upon so many like them. Roscoe and Carrie Jean ventured into a world that gave them the opportunity to experience that which only seemed to be a fantasy of dreams in their old world. Carrie Jean became the independent and defiant woman that had not yet been realized by many women of her day and time. She soon realized that she had come a long way, baby. Because of his love and loyalty to his beloved Carrie Jean, Roscoe was able to say goodbye to the familiar and safety he found in his childhood. Nothing could deter these two in their search for Heaven. They would ask for forgiveness later.
