College is tough. You're growing up and becoming more independent. You're struggling through exams and relationships. You're making new friendships. As much as this can be difficult, the most difficult part for me was suddenly losing my mom at 18. My whole world shattered. My poetry is what saved me and kept me going. This is a collection of poetry that I wrote after she passed away to cope with the loss.
