For Everything There Is a Season takes a deep dive into the dysfunction of the Miller Family and explores the idea that anyone can be both villain and victim and there's not always a tidy ending.
As if dealing with the death of their older brother Marcus wasn't enough, now Anna, Carmen and Danny find themselves trapped in a time loop, having to relive the week of his death over and over. In an effort to end the recurrence, they're forced to work together to determine the solution.
Carmen has spent most of her life feeling isolated from her family after an accusation of abuse divided them. Anna has what appears to be a contented simple life, but she longs to escape their overbearing mother and build a life of her own. Danny, not the typical youngest sibling, is left out of family secrets and treated with disdain by his mother, and is struggling not to turn to old habits to deal with the pain.
Their family tradition of sweeping everything under the rug undermines them, all three would rather run away to their respective safe places rather than confront their demons. The journey to escape their morbid time loop is full of confrontations, heartache, and self-discovery.
