This is the third, and final book of the Finally Home Series. In Finally Home: Freed the story of Maggie and Jake continues. They are safely back on Cape Cod and looking forward to the births of their twin daughters. What they don't realize is that evil is poised to invade the Cape and destroy the sense of safety. The couple must dig down and find personal strength and courage to overcome what faces them. The monster who had purchased Maggie when she was a small child has discovered that she is alive and he wants his property. With more money and power than anyone in the world, he will not stop and the couple face an extraordinary battle to survive. Helping them in that battle, is FBI Agent Talus Anastas and Danae Shaw-Maggie's sister of the soul. Those two have built their own walls over the years to protect them from the pain of further losses. When they meet, there are fireworks and the two very strong people find that they must first battle their feelings, before they can successfully battle the monsters who threaten the people that they love. This book continues to look at the very real issue of human slavery throughout the world, shedding light on the subject and the prevalence of it. It is for adult readers only because of the content, language and sexual themes. The books should be read in order for the fullest pleasure and the best understanding of the characters and the plots. Finally Home: Rescued is the first book. Finally Home: Trusted is the second.
