Fighting The Flying Circus is a memoir by Captain Edward V. Rickenbacker, an American fighter ace who served in World War I. The book details Rickenbacker's experiences as a pilot in the United States Army Air Service's 94th Aero Squadron, which he commanded. Rickenbacker describes his time in the air, engaging in dogfights with German pilots, and the tactics he used to outmaneuver them. He also recounts his time as a prisoner of war after his plane was shot down behind enemy lines. Throughout the book, Rickenbacker provides insights into the life of a fighter pilot during World War I, including the risks they faced and the camaraderie that developed among them. The book is a thrilling account of one man's experiences in the air and on the ground during the Great War.This Is A New Release Of The Original 1919 Edition. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
