FIELD TRIPS TO REALITY is the second book of short stories, thirteen tales by poet, storyteller, songwriter and author, Doyle Raymond Vines. The first book, 'WRITTEN PICTURES was first published in 2009. An expurgated and slightly modified second printing came out in 2011. A number of the stories found in 'FIELD TRIPS TO REALITY' are in fact, true stories; inspiration for the title. Some are pure fiction. One tale, 'Slaughter' is a blend of these. The Uninvited is a timeless parable.
