Fatherless was a term I hated yet it now something I giggle at sometimes. I hope this book of poetry that explores the complex emotions and struggles of letting go. Learning titles others placed on us are jokes on the, instead of us falling into insecurities or being we're at fault. Through its pages, it's my understanding of what it means to move on from difficult experiences and find peace amidst the chaos. Even if means writing out things were supposed to keep in the dark. My words are deeply personal and reflect on their own experiences of grappling with fatherlessness and the impact it has had on my life. This book is a testament to the strength of the human spirit and a reminder that our complicated emotions do not define us as failures.
