The eight stories in this collection have one thing in common - the influence of Father Frederick Monahan. The Titanic and Father Freddie outlines the end of his life and his career on this plane of existence as a devoted Catholic Priest. After his physical death, when consciousness returned, the spirit of Father Frederick found his way to Father Benedict, his spiritual mentor, who encouraged Father Freddie in his decision to remain on this plane as a priest of the Absolute, assisting those in need. His mission is not to interfere with the destiny of any one individual, community, or nation, but rather to guide those he encounters in uncovering the depths of their own spirituality and the truths which will guide them to a higher consciousness thereby dissolving the illusions in which they have been imprisoned. His influence ranges from the subtle distractions encountered by the fifteen members of a choir group, causing them to be late for rehearsal by mere minutes, thereby saving their lives from a natural disaster - to the more complex issues facing the cardinals of the Catholic Papal Conclave after the murder of their Pope.
