Familiar Images examines a body of artwork created by the author for her Master's thesis at Louisiana State University in 1991. The artwork is a series of intaglios and collages dealing with the plausibility of combining photographically derived images with traditional forms of mark-making, such as drawing. The subject matter involves the tradition of family photographs and the history of photographic printmaking.
