In 3504, realizing that schools no longer taught history, the author of Future World History decided to take it upon himself to inform the people of Earth how the planet reached their current position in the galaxy. Between the years 2035 and 2500 Earth's population experienced many dramatic changes, and it all started with a single invention that provided a new source low cost and unlimited electrical energy. With the cost of energy virtually eliminated suddenly there was money to fund scientific and medical research. We ended our dependence on fossil fuels, found cures for almost every disease, and developed the ability to travel to other solar systems. During those initial space explorations we had our first contact with alien civilizations, Earth joined a galaxy wide trade alliance, and we discovered the first nonhuman intelligent species. Presented here is that incredible story.
