Fundamentals of Software Engineering

The fundamentals of software engineering are a cornerstone in the training of systems engineers at Tecnológico Nacional de México. Through the study of the software life cycle, business modeling, use of CASE tools, UML diagrams and quality control, students develop a deep understanding of the development of reliable and efficient systems; this technical training is complemented with an ethical, social and collaborative vision, aligned with the institutional values of the TecNM. In this way, graduates are not only trained to solve technological problems, but also to lead digital transformation projects, contribute to the development of their community and compete in global markets.Software engineering is a fundamental discipline within computer science, focused on the design, development, maintenance and evaluation of high quality software systems. In the context of the Tecnológico Nacional de México (TecNM), its teaching is an essential part of the preparation of Computer Systems Engineering students, allowing them to successfully face technological challenges.
