Fugitive Pieces is a novel written by Henry B. Dawson. The book is a historical fiction that takes place during the American Civil War. The story follows the life of a young boy named Jacob, who is forced to flee his home in the South after his family is killed by Union soldiers. After escaping to the North, Jacob becomes a fugitive and is forced to live on the run. Along the way, he meets a group of other fugitives who help him survive and find a new home. However, Jacob's past catches up with him, and he must confront the demons of his past in order to move forward. The book explores themes of survival, loss, and redemption, and provides a unique perspective on the Civil War from the point of view of a fugitive. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
