Most of us want to be able to help our spouse, our family, or our close friends in any way that we can, but sometimes we just don't know how. Not knowing what to do can be frustrating, at least that's the way it's been for me. That is until a friend of mine shared with me that during his study time every morning he prays seven words over each of his family members, and others, asking God to bless them in those areas. So I tried it, and added two more words to the list!
It's been a game changer, or I should say a life changer. God has blessed me with such joy and peace, and He has relieved me of the frustration of feeling helpless when I haven't known how to help a loved one because now I know that I am lifting them up to our Almighty God who DOES know how to help them. He also revealed to me that by practicing this prayer technique for others I am serving them in a way that contributes the best help I could ever offer anyone.
I hope this book will encourage you to serve those around you by praying for them, whether it's one of these words or all nine of them. Watch how God blesses and impacts the person that is being prayed for, and also you, the person doing the praying, with a fruitful and significant life!
