Lovely old fashioned verse, real, true, simple and from the heart. Selected by a daughter from the legacy of a little red leather poetry book in which she found all her mothers' verse, after her passing. The poems were written between the years of 1950 and 1990. The book is punctuated with old black and white photographs, some from the 1930's which are taken from the family album, giving it an intimate feel. Topics are Nature, Love and Heartbreak, Humor, Family, Faith and a handful of poems for children. The perfect gift for mothers' everywhere and all those who enjoy a little rhyme with their poetry.
