Was the Bethlehem Star Supernatural or Natural? Some bible teachers believe that the Bethlehem Star was a supernatural event, something that cannot be explained within the natural celestial mechanics created at the same time as the Sun, the Moon and planets (called wandering stars) in the beginning in Genesis 1:14. It is possible the Bethlehem Star was a predictable event, and when God uses His creation, it isn't always an unexplainable supernatural event.
In this book you will find a compilation of information to confirm a timeline using scripture as the base, including archaeology and historical writings to be tested against astronomical evidence. There are videos and theories about the Star of Bethlehem, however some are historically, astronomically and even scripturally inaccurate, it's understandable since people were unaware of many of the archaeological findings, which are becoming more available to us today. Over the years because of the unavailability of evidence, some have concluded well we just can't know. As time goes on, we will be able to find out more as archaeology is revealed and continues to confirm the accuracy of scripture, just one of the many reasons we need to keep watching.
Many of you might be familiar with AC Katz's previous book The Great American Writing on the Wall - Total Solar Eclipse of 2017 and 2024. In that book she showed herself to be a meticulous researcher and seeker of truth. She continues this methodology in her new book, From Babylon to Bethlehem. As an amateur astronomer and astrophotographer as well as Bible teacher, I have been enthusiastically contemplating for many years the background behind the enigmatic star of Bethlehem which led the magi to Jesus. In this new book, AC Katz will take you on an amazing historical, theological, archaeological, and astronomical journey exploring the possibilities of the Bethlehem star. Was the Bethlehem star a conjunction of planets? Conjunction of stars? A comet? Was it a supernatural event? You will certainly find all of her research fascinating and worth the read.
