The classic tale you know... and the secret hidden beneath the well you don't.
Everyone knows how the story ends: a princess, a golden ball, and a promise she never meant to keep. But no one has ever asked why the frog was cursed in the first place - or what waits at the bottom of the well where it all began.

Classic Tales Reimagined: The Frog Prince retells the Brothers Grimm classic with the heart intact, and the harshness gone. This edition restores the frog's dignity - and the princess's courage - with an original backstory explaining the curse, and a brand-new resolution built on kindness instead of cruelty.
Perfect for readers ages 7 to 12, this 12-chapter edition keeps the magic, the manners lesson, and the moral core of the original Grimm tale, while replacing its darker, more violent ending with one that today's young readers - and the adults reading beside them - will feel good about finishing.
