Ce qui se dessine nettement, c'est le système de valeurs et de normes à travers lequel l'idéologie globaliste prend forme. Les nouvelles élites transnationales exigent de tous les individus humains qu'ils bougent , qu'ils suivent le mouvement globalisateur, qu'ils accélèrent leur propre mouvement, qu'ils vivent désormais à l'heure de la mondialisation . Les normes en sont simples, voire sommaires: consommer toujours plus, communiquer toujours plus rapidement, échanger d'une façon optimalement rentable. L'entrée dans la société bougiste planétaire et l'imposition à tous les peuples des valeurs de l'individualisme moderne/occidental (utilitaristes, compétitivistes , hédonistes) s'accompagnent d'une réduction de la démocratie au couple formé par les droits de l'homme et le marché libre, sans frontières. Entre le sujet universel (le genre humain), sujet d'inhérence des droits de l'homme, et la multiplicité des individus idéalement dotés de droits, il n'y a plus rien ou presque, en tout cas, il ne doit rien y avoir. [...] Cette volonté d'éliminer les peuples, les nations et les États souverains est l'attribut principal du sujet mondialisateur et/ou globaliste, celui qui incarne ou représente le nouveau pouvoir polymorphe émergeant à l'échelle planétaire. C'est là priver la démocratie de son champ d'inscription et d'exercice, c'est plus largement abolir l'espace politique.
Le processus de globalisation, toujours suivi par son double symbolique l'idéologie vaguement messianique et faiblement utopiste du salut par le mouvement technomarchand , illégitime le politique tandis qu'il légitime absolument le technique/technologique, l'économique et le financier. Le lien social est pulvérisé pour être remplacé par les interactions libre-échangistes.
Cette idéologie, fondée sur une promesse de salut dans et par le mouvement en avant perpétuel, suivant une vitesse accélérée, je l'ai baptisée bougisme ou mouvementisme . Il s'agit d'un nouveau système du destin: au coeur de la Vulgate émergente, l'on rencontre l'idée d'une évolution technomarchande inéluctable.
Pierre-André Taguieff ne nous avait pas habitué à une écriture pamphlétaire, aussi brève et incisive. En lançant le concept de bougisme qui lui semble le plus opérant pour une critique radicale, il s'attaque radicalement au processus dans lequel notre société semble fatalement engagée. Selon lui, il résulte de la dégradation du concept de progrès , tel que celui-ci a été opérant tout au long du siècle dernier. Délaissant une analyse très méticuleuse et érudite, celle dans laquelle il a excellé en traitant du racisme, de l'antisémitisme et de la nouvelle droite, il s'en prend à la rhétorique mystificatrice des élites néo-libérales qui masque le passage à une société post-démocratique, remplaçant le citoyen par le conso
