Ce livre ne te promet pas que tout ira mieux demain et ne présente pas ta tristesse comme la preuve d'un manque de foi. À la lumière du Coran et de la Sunna, il t'aide à comprendre que tu peux aimer Allah et pleurer, croire en Lui et connaître des moments d'abattement, L'invoquer longtemps sans voir immédiatement l'issue espérée.
Les prophètes eux-mêmes ont connu l'épreuve, l'attente et les larmes. Leur exemple montre que la foi n'empêche pas l'épreuve, mais qu'elle guide le croyant dans la manière de la traverser.
