Les Anciens Troubadours du Var by Louis Pélabon offers a detailed exploration of the troubadours of the Var region in France. Published in 1864, this historical work provides biographical notices of these poets, each followed by a Provençal stanza summarizing their texts. The collection begins with an ode to the monk of the Îles-d'Or. This book is a valuable resource for those interested in the history of Provençal literature and the cultural heritage of the Var.
