The portrait of a lonely man and a country that plays with words, myths and legends.
For three days, Apollinaire tries to understand the most emblematic failure of his career. His client, KA, had been accused of an atrocious crime and the media had turned him into a legend. KA was quickly found guilty and condemned to death leaving Apollinaire no hope or means for appeal. But he was young with barely any experience and perhaps even a bit cowardly when he had been appointed KA's lawyer by the court.
Now, on the eve of his retirement, Apollinaire is haunted by the case. His investigation leads him along a tortuous path, searching for Justice, and digging deep into the memory of the young lawyer he was who couldn't or wouldn't fight for the Truth.
