Quelque part, ou nulle part dans ce monde, en des temps difficiles - marqués par tant de pandémies- qui pourraient être les nôtres.Rien donc n'y est vrai, même pas le personnage principal, Louya Mpondi, lanceur d'alerte sur la maladie mystérieuse, le quatro-18, qui fauche tant de vies humaines et bouleverse le cours normal de l'existence. À ses risques et périls, Louya Mpondi révèlera à travers les réseaux sociaux des informations compromettantes; et l'on finira par comprendre que les autorités de Léo-sud cachaient la vraie version des faits sur la pandémie, le nombre de contaminés et de décès. Louya Mpondi est donc arrêté pour trahison du secret de l'État; puis jeté à la prison inhumaine de Makala II où, avec ses amis de fortune, ils vont subir des interrogatoires militaires .Éternelle boucle d'une société corrompue, sans lendemains, où tous ceux qui osent informer se retrouvent paradoxalement en prison pour attendre doucement la mort programmée. Notre plaisir doit beaucoup à l'art du dramaturge, Élie Sosthène Nganga, qui a su forger une langue enjouée et faire rimer tant de ritournelles qu'il nous transporte, presqu'à lui seul, de l'autre côté du miroir. Aussi vrai, cette pièce qui se lit comme un feuilleton d'un long métrage est une déclaration d'amour à la dignité humaine et au respect du droit à l'information.
