This volume presents the translated text of the papal bull Unigenitus, alongside a new catechism intended for those who accept it. Unigenitus, issued by Pope Clement XI in 1713, condemned 101 propositions drawn from Pasquier Quesnel's book Réflexions morales sur le Nouveau Testament. This publication offers insight into the theological and political debates of the early 18th century within the Catholic Church, particularly in France. It serves as a primary source for understanding the Jansenist controversy and its impact on religious and intellectual life. This historical document is invaluable for scholars and students interested in religious history, French history, and the history of Catholicism.
