Le Consistoire, Ou L'esprit De L'église is a heroi-comic poem in six cantos by Philippe Alexandre Louis Pierre Plancher de Valcour. This satirical work, written in French, offers a critical and humorous perspective on the consistory and the spirit of the Church. Through elegant verse and clever wit, Plancher de Valcour examines the religious and social issues of his time. This edition allows contemporary readers to rediscover a significant voice from the 18th century and appreciate the nuances of French poetic satire.
