Il met en lumière la cruauté des regards, le poids des jugements et l'indifférence institutionnelle face au drame des violences sexuelles, notamment dans le contexte africain.
Bris de silence a pour objectif d'éveiller les consciences, de remettre en question les complicités tacites et d'encourager une solidarité réelle et sincère envers les victimes. C'est aussi une invitation à se regarder dans le miroir collectif: que voulons-nous léguer à nos enfants ? Quelle société sommes-nous en train de construire ?
En brisant le silence, l'auteure redonne dignité à son histoire - et de la force à celles des autres. Ce livre bouleverse, questionne, mais surtout, il inspire.
