ACTRICES ET ACTEURS - LA PRÉPARATION Outre le désir et le plaisir personnel de partager mes connaissances dans ce domaine avec un public plus large, l'une des principales motivations qui m'ont poussé à écrire le manuel La préparation de l'actrice et de l'acteur était le désir sincère de transmettre le fruit de mon expérience de manière pratique. Je souhaite ainsi apporter une contribution utile aux nombreuses personnes intéressées par l'art de la représentation, mais aussi soutenir les enseignants des arts du spectacle en général, ainsi que les comédiens amateurs ou professionnels qui comprennent l'importance d'un entretien régulier. C'est la raison pour laquelle j'ai jugé pertinent de produire ce document qui synthétise également mon expérience d'enseignant, d'acteur, d'auteur et de metteur en scène, après une carrière dans le domaine qui a culminé, au cours des dix dernières années, au poste de directeur scolaire et pédagogique de l'École professionnelle Nicolau Breyner à Lisbonne, où j'ai également formé et enseigné à des centaines d'étudiants dans le cadre des modules et des thèmes les plus divers liés à l'enseignement de la profession.
