Forced into an uneasy partnership, Claire and Adam begin tracing changes made to her original model. What they uncover is more disturbing than a flawed dating system. As professional hostility gives way to respect-and respect becomes an attraction neither of them can dismiss-Claire and Adam establish careful rules for what they may ask, what they may reveal, and what must remain private. But when evidence suggests their extraordinary match was never generated by the system at all, the investigation becomes personal. A withheld truth threatens to prove that even a relationship built on consent can be damaged by someone convinced that silence is protection.
To stop Bondline's most dangerous product, Claire must confront the company carrying her name and the compromises that allowed it to change. Adam must decide whether exposing the truth matters more than controlling the story. And together, they must answer the only question no algorithm can resolve:
Can love remain real when the circumstances that brought two people together were designed by someone else?
