Flynn's brain moved fast... like super fast. His thoughts came quickly, his imagination ran wild, and staying organized felt harder for him than it seemed to be for everyone else. But inside Baba's busy restaurant, Flynn is about to learn that struggling with something does not mean you have nothing special to offer.
With the help of Baba, a wise Ukrainian chef with a strong personality and an even stronger accent, Flynn begins to discover something important: not everyone's brain works the same way, and that's okay.
Filled with playful food-themed rhymes, whimsical illustrations, and meaningful moments about self-esteem, perseverance, and finding your strengths, Forgetful Flynn is more than just a storybook. Designed by a Speech-Language Pathologist, it also doubles as a flexible therapy tool for supporting speech sound production, language skills, executive functioning, and imaginative play.
Perfect for:
- Speech-Language Pathologists
- Parents and educators
- Neurodivergent and fast-thinking kids
- Children working on articulation and language skills
- Anyone who has ever felt different
Inside you'll find:
- Opportunities for interactive storytelling and pretend play
- Built-in articulation support through speech sound menus and swap-in targets
- Rich vocabulary and silly storytelling
- Moments that support pragmatic language and executive functioning development
- A gentle message about self-worth, resilience, and growth
Because sometimes the kids who seem the most scattered are also the ones filled with the biggest ideas.
