Sometimes a big picture overview, a breakdown of steps to take, and a little encouragement can help us make informed decisions for sudden or gradual change.
You are invited to share our journey, discover the benefit of getting rid of debt, the idea of homesteading, explore various forest escape options and begin to trust God in every step forward. A chosen path is one God lays out for you and you decide to choose to follow it. It has to be a deliberate decision. This lifestyle choice won't happen by accident. In nature, we withdraw from society and become closer to our Heavenly Father.

We prayed and God revealed a path to follow. We chose to say no more regarding the stress, corruption, stress, high taxes and fast-paced life in New York State. When life becomes too unbearable, we have to make a deliberate choice for change in our lives. This relaxed, conversational-style book was written so you can benefit from our experience making hard choices, selling everything, leaving family behind, building a cabin in Kentucky, and starting to live off the land in a secluded forest, with no running water.
