This is a children's book that is based on the following poem I wrote about Dolly Parton after her death.

You sparkled brightly like a diamond and lit a rhinestone in all our hearts.

You proudly wore your coat of many colors, to celebrate the richness of acceptance and diversity.

You were a steel magnolia, whose grit and generosity gave children books, so they might chase their dreams.

You danced through life like wildflower, being authentically you, thereby giving permission to others to be who they are too.

You soared like a butterfly up the stairway to heaven, to find peace in the arms of God.

Rest well Dolly. Now the work is ours to do.

We must sing your song of love and see the divinity in each and everyone.
