From New York Times bestselling author Beth Ferry and Geisel Award Honoree Matt Myers, comes a gentle and uplifting new classic about a race car tire that's been cast aside but finds joy and meaning through an unexpected new adventure and friend. Perfect for fans of Little Blue Truck and The Yellow Bus.
Flyer McTire is at home on the racetrack. He zooms, he revs, he speeds--and he never gets tired. But when one day he's fired and sent to the dump, he starts to feel that maybe there's no place for him anymore.
That is, until he has a chance encounter with a young boy. It's no racetrack but, maybe there's a better, more important job waiting for him and his best race is still to be won!
This delightful and tender story about embracing change and adapting to new situations from New York Times bestselling author Beth Ferry and Geisel Honor-winning illustrator Matt Myers will keep readers' engines revving for repeated readings.
