A Gentle Story That Reminds Children They Are Perfect Just The Way They Are!
Does your child ever feel like they're not good enough-no matter how hard they try?
One hard day. One mistake after another.
And suddenly, a child begins to believe something that isn't true...
Maybe I'm just not enough.
Bailey is having one of those days.
A spilled breakfast.
A tough moment at school.
Feeling left out... clumsy... and unsure of herself.
Even with her favorite companion, Buttons, by her side-
it feels like nothing is going right.
And little by little...
her confidence begins to fade.
Then comes a visit to Grandma's flower garden...
A quiet, beautiful place where something simple-yet powerful-begins to shift.
Through Grandma's gentle wisdom and the language of nature,
Bailey discovers a truth every child needs to hear:
Being different doesn't mean being wrong.
And your worth is never something you have to earn.
By the end of this heart-centered story, children don't just hear the message-they feel it.
They begin to understand:
- It's okay to have hard days
- Big emotions don't define who they are
- They are loved and enough-exactly as they are
Perfect for children who:
- Get frustrated when things don't go right
- Compare themselves to others
- Feel left out or not as good as their peers
- Struggle with confidence or self-doubt
This story gently helps children:
- Build confidence and self-worth
- Understand and process big emotions
- Embrace their uniqueness
- Feel safe, reassured, and deeply loved
Look closely as you read.
Throughout the story, subtle visual changes in Buttons invite children to notice something deeper-a reflection of how emotions can affect us, and how love, awareness, and compassion restore balance.
Loved by parents, grandparents, teachers, and counselors, this book is ideal for bedtime, meaningful conversations, and classroom or counseling settings.
Best for children ages 4-8.
