Flourish is a collection of poetry of my story intertwined with the stories of other young women. This book is the Foundation of my Woman Empowerment Project I started in 2017. I mainly talk about depression, heartbreak, insecurities, friendship etc. These poems are stories of raw emotions, it was a learning process because as I wrote this book I was overcoming, I was learning to keep Flourishing. Also, to the girls who shared their stories with me taught me so much on my journey. They've experience things I couldn't imagine going through but they overcame it. Their stories help me write my story and they taught me how to overcome. I want the readers to know that whatever they are feeling they are not alone, that no matter what we overcome, we flourish, we survive!
