Florida On My Mind is an entertaining collection of short stories all relating to the peninsula of dreams that is our American Riviera.Smile at the widow's search for a husband that leads her through a series of comic liaisons. Hope for a windfall via the U. S. mail to save the day for a nearly bankrupt landlord. Live the adventure when a Key West Fantasy Fest becomes a humorous, sometimes terrifying, escapade for a pair of northern tourists. Experience the tragic death of a Russian refugee that propels a young Polish girl toward a new life. And guess at the outcome when a woman fills bottles with messages and casts them into the sea. Six additional stories complete this eclectic volume.Written by Florida authors, these brief tales are great reads for cozy evenings, sunny days under a beach umbrella, or just about any time that Florida is on your mind.
